One final tuneup before the real thing begins for Kentucky Basketball.
It’s gameday for the Kentucky Wildcats, who will host the Division II Minnesota State Mavericks at Rupp Arena.
Game time is 7 PM ET on the SEC Network+, which means you can only watch it online via SEC Network+/ESPN+. You can also listen to pregame, in-game, and postgame radio coverage via the UK Sports Network.
This will be the final tune-up game for the Cats, who will begin regular-season play next Monday at home vs. Wright State. While Mark Pope’s squad looked quite impressive vs. Kentucky Wesleyan, Minnesota State is arguably the best program in Division II basketball after winning the national championship last season. The Mavericks enter the season as the preseason No. 1 team in Division II.
Safe to say a great test is on deck for the Cats! Let’s see how they respond.
