Is Kentucky’s star DB in danger of missing Saturday?
The Kentucky Wildcats are less than 48 hours away from their matchup with Ole Miss. They’ll look to pick up their first signature win of the season, and they will have to do so without Chip Trayanum once again.
In the updated injury report, the Ohio State transfer running back had his designation moved to out after being considered doubtful in last night’s initial report.
Maxwell Hairston also returns to the report for the Cats, receiving a questionable designation, despite not appearing in the first report of the week.
The number of players on the Ole Miss report stayed the same at 26, with over half of the names listed as probable.
At the moment, things seem to be shaping up for the Cats to roll into Oxford with a puncher’s chance against the No. 6 team in the country. Demie Sumo-Karngbaye and Jamarion Wilcox will be the focus of the Cats’ rushing attack, and it could potentially be a wet game in Oxford, which would help negate the passing offenses.
We will keep you updated with the final injury report, which will be released tomorrow night.
