That’s a tough blow for Kentucky.
The Kentucky Wildcats are preparing for a huge matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend as they look to right the ship in Knoxville.
Well, heading into the matchup, it felt like the chances of an upset were incredibly bleak. After tonight’s injury report, that chance looks even worse.
In the opening injury report for the week, the Cats have six regular starters out for this weekend’s matchup, including Maxwell Hairston, Chip Trayanum, Jantzen Dunn, and Gerald Mincey, who stayed on the report from last week.
The Cats also had a few other names listed as out, including JJ Weaver, D’Eryk Jackson, and Jordan Dingle.
With Deone Walker and Demie Sumo-Karngbaye also listed as probable, the Cats will hopefully have some of their stars in the matchup.
This UK squad is dealing with quite a few injuries. Just another blow to this painful season for Mark Stoops and Co.
