Monday night’s alumni rivalry game between La Familia (Kentucky) and The Ville (Louisville) is being billed as the biggest game in The Basketball Tournament’s history.
La Familia, which is led by six former NBA players and a collection of overseas pros, rolled through the Lexington Regional to reach the TBT quarterfinals.
The Ville is led by former NBA big man Montrezl Harrell, David Johnson, Chris Jones, Peyton Siva and Russ Smith. Former EKU big man Nick Mayo is also a key player for the squad.
According to TBT, fans have already purchased more than 11,000 tickets for the game. That would shatter the previous attendance record of 7,202.
