Butler is officially out.
The SEC injury report is out for the Kentucky Wildcats and Alabama Crimson Tide ahead of their SEC Tournament matchup.
For Kentucky, Lamont Butler has been ruled out after leaving Thursday’s win over Oklahoma due to an undisclosed injury. There’s a chance Butler returns for the NCAA Tournament, but we almost certainly won’t see him again in Nashville, regardless of how far Kentucky advances.
Jaxson Robinson and Kerr Kriisa remain out. Everyone else is available to play.
For Alabama, freshman forward Derrion Reid missed the first two matchups with Kentucky due to a hamstring injury that’s lingered for several months. He’s listed as a game-time decision.
Senior guard guard Latrell Wrightsell Jr., who suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in November, remains out.
Reserve senior guard Houston Mallette remains out due to his knee injury.
