Former Kentucky center Lance Ware is finishing up his college career at UT Arlington.
Today, Ware was named Western Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week.
In two games last week, Ware averaged 14.0 points (on 12-of-17 shooting – 70.6%), 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 2.0 steals and 2.0 assists.
