Lyon County knocked off Harlan County 67-58 to win the 2024 KHSAA boy’s basketball state championship last night at Rupp Arena.
Future Kentucky guard Travis Perry, the state’s all-time leading scorer, led the Lyons with 27 points and 5 assists. His high school career ends with an incredible 5,481 points.
Lyon County has an enrollment of just 303 students.

Trent Noah, who is headed to South Carolina to play college his college basketball, had 17 points for Harlan County. His career ends with 3,707 points, which is good for fifth most in KHSAA history.
