It sounds like new Kentucky head coach Mark Pope is close to making some additions to his coaching staff.
There were already reports that Pope was adding Cody Fueger, who was one of his assistants at BYU.
Today, Kyle Tucker says Pope is closing in on former Georgia and California head coach Mark Fox as well as former Syracuse player Jason Hart.

Fox struggled at Cal, but he has a career head coaching record of 324–263 (.552).
Hart was the head coach of NBA G League Ignite from 2021-2024. Before that he worked as an assistant coach at Pepperdine and USC.
RE: Mark Pope’s UK staff …
Expect his longtime assistant, Cody Fueger, to be official tomorrow.
Look for formerNevada/UGA/Cal HC Mark Fox to fill Bruiser-type, non-recruiting role.
And former Cuse/NBA guard Jason Hart, USC assistant/G League Ignite HC, as regular assistant.

In other related news from Thursday, it was reported that Orlando Antigua will not be part of Pope’s staff. Also, John Calipari added Kenny Payne to his staff at Arkansas.
Nearly 20 years of coaching experience on the collegiate and professional levels.
