The UK head coach still has plenty of hope.
The Kentucky Wildcats are now in a very rough patch of this college basketball season, as they have lost four of their last five games.
Now, all of the BBN and the college basketball world are asking the same question: Can this team respond?
Well, Mark Pope sure thinks so.
During his weekly radio show, the Kentucky head coach pointed to this losing streak but believes this team’s ceiling is still as high as anyone’s.
“I know this is a rough patch, but we believe there are great things ahead of us,” said Pope.
That is the hope of this fanbase, and honestly, we will figure it out quite soon. With Tennessee visiting next week, a trip to Alabama coming soon, and a date with Auburn still on the docket, the Cats will have the opportunity to prove they can still make a deep run in March.
We saw it in the non-conference, now we just need to see them get healthy and put the pieces together in SEC play.
