Who is your pick in tonight’s game?
Florida and Houston will face off tonight in San Antonio for the right to cut down the net and hoist the NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship Trophy.
Both No. 1 seeds were the beneficiary of fantastic Final Four games on Saturday, with Florida trumping fellow No. 1 seed Auburn and Houston pulling off a historic comeback over fellow No. 1 seed Duke.
The Florida Gators very much rely on the senior trio of Walter Clayton Jr., Alijah Martin and Will Richard on offense with the combination of those three players being as lethal as any team has posed this season.
Meanwhile, the Houston Cougars lean heavily on their team defense with senior guard L.J. Cryer leading them on the offensive end.
It’s no surprise that each team has made it this far, with Florida having the No. 3 scoring offense in the country and Houston having the No. 1 scoring defense.
Each team enters the game with a 35-4 record on the season, with oddsmakers being split on who should be “favored” to win.
ESPN Bet gives the edge to Florida as a 1.5-point favorite but ESPN’s Basketball Power Index is showing Houston has a 65.5% chance to pull out a victory.
Tonight’s game is scheduled to tip at 8:50 PM ET with television coverage on CBS.
