Calling all horse racing enthusiasts and Kentuckians… Netflix tailored its new six-part series for you. It’s called Race For The Crown, and it’s just as the title suggests: a behind-the-scenes look at the race for the Triple Crown.
From the same team that brought you the popular Formula 1: Drive To Survive, Netflix follows the top owners. trainers, and jockeys in their journeys through horse racing’s 2024 Triple Crown chase. Race For The Crown goes behind the scenes at iconic racetracks like Kentucky’s Churchill Downs and Keeneland, showing the ins and outs of the sport.
“The racing world is full of colorful and controversial characters — including billionaire business tycoons and horse-doping trainers — which leads to plenty of intense rivalries fueled by million-dollar investments and insatiable appetites for glory,” writes Tudum.
Race For The Crown premieres on April 22. Who knows, maybe you will see someone you recognize at the track.
