We’re only a few hours away from the 2024 NBA Draft and everyone is trying to look their best for the cameras. But Kentucky guard Reed Sheppard decided to keep things simple for his big day.
At the NBA Draft, Sheppard was asked about his wardrobe, which consisted of a basic green suit and a tie with a white shirt underneath. He explained that he wanted something that was “different, but still very simple.”
“Not much (went into this look). I went into the store and I kind of just saw the green and was like ‘I think that’s the color.’ It just caught my eye as soon as I walked there. It was nice but it was different but still very simple,” Sheppard said.

Sheppard is widely expected to be one of the top picks in the first round of the draft in just a few hours. It’s deserved after what he did at Kentucky this past year.
Despite starting only five games, Sheppard averaged 12.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for the Wildcats this past season. He was the SEC Freshman of the Year and earned Second-Team All-SEC honors.
Where will Sheppard go in the 2024 NBA Draft?
