According to Jon Rothstein, former Kentucky player Mark Pope is now a candidate for the program’s head coaching job.
Pope just finished up his fifth season at BYU. He just led the Cougars to the NCAA Tournament and has a 110–52 (.679) record.
In his nine-year head coaching career, Pope has a record of 187–108 (.634) at BYU and Utah Valley State.
