One transfer portal ranking has the Cats at No. 2! Can they climb to the top?

It’s been quite the offseason for the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team.

BBN couldn’t contain themselves in the beginning. Mark Pope didn’t come out of the gates hot; everyone thought there were issues.

Then, he and his staff hit that hot streak, getting commitments from Kam Williams, Jaland Lowe, Mouhamed Dioubate, and Jayden Quaintance in nearly consecutive days. They are currently ranked No. 2 in the incoming transfer class.

Lamar Wilkerson is visiting the Cats Sunday, and with his potential commitment, he will surely put Kentucky atop the rankings.

Wilkerson averaged 20.5 PPG on 47.7% FG% and 44.5% from deep. He also added 4.0 RPG, 2.1 APG, and 1.1 SPG. He’s currently regarded as one of the top players in the portal.

Despite the positive momentum, we got some shocking news from incoming freshman Acaden Lewis, who decided to decommit from the Cats on Thursday night.
