The Cats are back in action tonight against Vandy
Good morning, BBN!
After 13 days of rest, the Kentucky Wildcats are officially back at it tonight at home against the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The last time we saw this team, it was one of the most exciting games of the Stoops era. Some massive clutch plays at the end, along with Ole Miss’ kicker missing the game-tying field goal, sealed the win for UK.
All of BBN has been riding that high during the bye, but it’s time to show that it wasn’t just a fluke.
Vandy is coming off a major upset — in fact, it might be the biggest upset in college football history — after they took down No. 1 Alabama last week.
To say that was a stunner is an understatement, but like Stoops said earlier this week, he had no problem convincing his team how good and dangerous Vandy is.
I think most of BBN doesn’t know what to expect tonight. The gambling books have the Cats as a -12.5 point favorite… which seems crazy.
We’ll see. Regardless, it should be an electric night at Kroger Field. Get out there tonight and cheer on these Cats!
