Is karma real? Auburn may think so.
The Auburn Tigers beat the Kentucky Wildcats a week ago and celebrated like they won the NCAA Tournament, which you can see here.
With a few conference games left, the Tigers still had work to be done, and that work, simply put, was sloppy.
As the top team in the country, they had their last battle at home spoiled by their biggest rival, the Alabama Crimson Tide, thanks to a Mark Sears buzzer-beater. That led to some Tigers fans throwing objects on the floor, delaying the postgame handshake line.

This came after Auburn lost on the road to Texas A&M just days earlier, providing what feels like some sweet revenge for Wildcats fans. Maybe the Tigers will show a little more respect from now on, though that’s probably a stretch with guys like Chad Baker-Mazara on the team.
Baker-Mazara was ejected from the loss to Alabama due to a Flagrant II after he drove his forearm into the back of Chris Youngblood’s neck.
Have loved watching Auburn all year. Been a defender of Chad Baker-Mazara.
But this (in the lower, lefthand corner of the screen) is just WILDLY inappropriate and unnecessary.pic.twitter.com/4WPHYtBKYg

With the Cats riding a nice little win streak into the SEC Tournament, expect them to have a chance to make a deep run.
As for Auburn, while it will still likely have a 1-seed locked up in the NCAA Tournament, it might not be the top seed after this two-game losing streak.
