Former Kentucky star Malik Monk, a candidate for NBA Sixth Man of the Year, dropped 39 points off the bench in Sacramento’s 124-120 win over Minnesota last night.
Monk was 16-for-29 from the field and 5-for-8 from the three-point line in the game.
Most impressively, Monk had 4 points with 2:40 to go in the third quarter. He then erupted to score 35 more.
