Skip Bayless is done with John Calipari at Kentucky.
After Kentucky made another quick exit at the NCAA Tournament on Thursday night, Bayless went on Friday’s edition of “Undisputed” and called for Kentucky to part ways with the longtime head coach.
“It’s time for a change,” Bayless said. “It’s time for him to change.”
“You can’t defend what keeps happening at Kentucky. I look at just the last five years…something is really, really amiss. When you have all these lottery picks and you go missed the tournament, missed the tournament, you go first-round upset by 15-seed Saint Peters, then last year they did beat Providence and then they lost to Kansas State in the second round, and now in the first round they get bounced by a 14-seed.”
Bayless then mentioned how Kentucky has only won one SEC Tournament game in the last four years.
It’s a far cry from several years ago when Kentucky was going on a deep run in almost every NCAA Tournament.
Going forward, Calipari will have to make some changes if he wants to get the program back on track. Of course, that’s if Kentucky keeps him for next season.
