The Kentucky Wildcats have their first confirmed transfer portal visitor.
According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Florida State forward Taylor Bol Bowen is visiting Kentucky on Tuesday and plans to visit Alabama following the trip to Lexington.
The 6-foot-10, 195-pound Bowen was a 4-star prospect ranked 110th overall by 247 Sports in the class of 2023 that the previous staff actually recruited. He was someone Kentucky reportedly reached out to during the NCAA Tournament, so there’s clearly some mutual interest between both sides.
This past season, Bowen averaged 8.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and shot 41.4% from deep on 2.4 attempts per game. Bowen primarily played the 4 spot while occasionally sliding down to the 5, according to KenPom.
