Of course, we are all very aware that No. 12 Kentucky fell at home to UNC Wilmington. It’s true that Kentucky should never lose at home to UNC Wilmington, but the Wildcats weren’t the only team to suffer a shocking loss.
This afternoon alone, both Auburn and Mississippi State dropped games to surprising opponents. The No. 21 Bulldogs lost at home to 2-6 Southern. That follows Tuesday night’s loss at Georgia Tech. Auburn fell in a true road game at Appalachian State.
