The former Cat had a big-time showing for the Pelicans last night
Last night was a big night for former Kentucky Wildcat Antonio Reeves.
Reeves, celebrating his 24th birthday, finished with a career-high 34 points in last night’s game between the Pelicans and Cavaliers.
Reeves was 14-25 from the floor with 5 rebounds and 3 assists from the floor as well.

It was also pretty cool to see Pelicans Head Coach Willie Green credit new assistant coach Jodie Meeks for the development of Reeves. Meeks is in his first year as an NBA assistant coach, and it’s pretty cool to see the Kentucky connection with the Pelicans.

We all knew Reeves had the talent and the ability to play in the league, so it could be the case that the Pelicans pulled off a steal in the second round to bring him to New Orleans.
