It’s gameday in Lexington.
It’s gameday in Lexington as the Kentucky Wildcats prepare to host the Brown Bears in Rupp Arena.
Today is the first home game Kentucky will play in nearly three weeks, with their last game coming over a week ago against Ohio State in the CBS Sports Classic, where the Wildcats were dealt an embarrassing loss on a national stage.
This matchup against Brown is Kentucky’s final non-conference game of the regular season and a chance for the team to build momentum before Southeastern Conference play begins.
It’s an opportunity to get off to a fast start, knock down open shots and play a clean game for a full 40 minutes of action.
The Wildcats enter today’s game as considerable favorites over the Bears, with ESPN’s Basketball Power Index giving UK a 96.5% chance to win.
Tip-off today is scheduled for 2 PM ET with television coverage on ESPNU.
