Time to meet the Wildcats.
The annual Big Blue Madness event will be held this Friday for Kentucky Wildcats men’s and women’s basketball. With new head coaches for both teams, there’s much anticipation for their upcoming seasons. Both Mark Pope and Kenny Brooks will speak with media today in the Historic Memorial Coliseum as well as the Joe Craft Center.
Today’s events will begin with Pope holding a press conference at Noon ET at Memorial and he’ll be immediately followed by player interviews at 1 PM in the Joe Craft Center.
Brooks will speak at 2 PM — also at Memorial — with his players being interviewed at 2:20 PM in the Newly Renovated WBB Locker Room, Lounge and Film Room.
The afternoon will end with a special treat — the women’s team holding an open practice starting at 3 PM and lasting until 4 PM.
Both teams are looking forward to a new chapter of their respective programs, and that fresh start is getting closer by the day. Check back at A Sea of Blue for post-media day coverage.
