Kentucky returns to the court tonight.
The No. 8 Kentucky Wildcats return to the court tonight as they host Western Kentucky University in Rupp Arena.
Kentucky enters the game with an undefeated 5-0 record and one day after moving up from No. 9 to No. 8 in the Associated Press Top-25 rankings.
Meanwhile, the Hilltoppers are 3-2 on the season with mutual wins over Lipscomb and Jackson State.
As of right now, Kentucky is the only ranked team on WKU’s schedule so combine that with the fact the Hilltoppers are coming to Rupp Arena and this game should be close to their “Super Bowl.”
Kentucky has been terrific this season, though, by not sleeping on their competition.
In fact, what may be the most impressive trait of the Wildcats so far this season is how they’ve won all five of their games.
Kentucky came from behind to beat then-No. 6 Duke in the State Farm Champions Classic and has won their four other games by an average of 36 points.
The Wildcats are taking care of business against the teams they’re expected to defeat by blowing them out and are 1-for-1 on out-coaching as well as out-executing against marquee teams in their win over Duke.
Kentucky is proving to the country that this team is “for real” and is nearing unstoppable when it comes to the offensive end.
The Wildcats and Hilltoppers are scheduled to tip-off at 6:30 PM ET tonight with coverage on ESPNU.
