UAB star transfer forward Yaxel Lendeborg has committed to Michigan according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.
Lendeborg, who is considered the best big man in the NCAA transfer portal, will still go through the NBA Draft process with the intention of finding a guaranteed contract.
“I love the culture Dusty May has brought to every team that he’s coached,” Lendeborg told Givony. “When I first started watching college basketball, it was FAU.”
“Lendeborg, a projected first-round pick, was college basketball’s most productive player,” Givony said on X this morning. “With the ability to handle, pass, shoot, and rebound in bunches, the 6’9 power forward has the type of two-way versatility, skill, and instincts NBA teams covet in the modern game.”
