A lot of things to work on for the Cats during the bye week.
Good morning, BBN!
To say it’s been a disappointing season for Kentucky Wildcats football is an understatement.
However, they did show a lot of fight in Knoxville, which leads you to believe that they could end the year on a positive note.
There are a few things they have to work on this bye week to make sure that happens:
Discipline. Despite putting up a good fight at Tennessee, Kentucky was still flagged 10 times for 71 yards, and that’s been a common theme all season. Personal fouls, false starts, etc., it’s been a problem all year, and they have to be better in that area to win.
Offensive play calling. I’m most optimistic about this. It’s been bad all year, but it was encouraging to see the aggressiveness to end the Tennessee game. Play like you have nothing to lose because you don’t.
Health. Take time to recover. This team has a lot of injuries, and this bye week needs to be about getting healthy and finishing strong this year.
There are a lot more things the Cats need to work on, let us know what they are in the comments!
