The former Kentucky back shined in his debut as a starter!
Good morning, BBN!
Few things are better than seeing former Kentucky Wildcats excel at the next level.
Ray Davis had his debut start for the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets, and he made every bit of that opportunity worth it.
Davis rushed the ball 20 times for 97 yards and added three receptions for 55 yards, which includes this spectacular catch.
With James Cook’s strong play this year, we haven’t seen much of Davis out there, but that’s sure to change after that performance.
Ray was one of the most fun players to watch in a Kentucky uniform ever.
Even though it was just for one season, he still had the third-best Kentucky rushing game of all time (280 yards against Florida), coupled with a legendary performance against Louisville, carrying the Cats to victory.
He’ll always be a Cat and it’s awesome to see him get his opportunity. Best of luck for the rest of the year, Ray!
