Will Bruce Pearl or Tom Izzo prevail in Atlanta?
Three of the four Final Four teams will be known at 5:05 pm when the Auburn Tigers and the Michigan State Spartans tip off in State Farm Arena, and the #1 overall seed will be trying to hold off Tom Izzo and the Spartans from making their first Final Four since 2019 and their 11th overall.
The Tigers are the #1 overall seed, which isn’t always the greatest thing in the NCAA Tournament, where many years the top team fails to get out of their region, but if they do, it’ll be the second year in a row for the top squad, as UConn did it last year and also won the whole thing.
Auburn came into the NCAA Tournament having lost three of its last four but now seems to have put that skid completely in the rearview mirror. Michigan State has been excellent this year in close games, so maybe Auburn’s best chance is to get out to a giant lead early and clamp down.
Who do you think will prevail in this battle of great coaches, awesome players, and fantastic teams in Auburn and Michigan State?
