The University of Cincinnati has relieved two people that worked for its baseball program.
Assistant head coach Kyle Sprague and Director of Operations Andy Nagel have been fired because of an NCAA investigation.
It stems from a May. 8 internal review of potential NCAA infractions involving the program.

The school did not comment on what the investigation is about since it’s still ongoing.
Sprague had been with the program since 2017 while Nagel joined in 2015.
This news dump comes as the Bearcats are currently playing in the American Athletic Conference tournament. They just lost to the UCF Knights and will take on the East Carolina Pirates in their next game.
The Bearcats are 24-32 overall (10-14 in the AAC).
