Even if you can beat ’em, join ’em?
At some point these will stop hurting so much. It sucked to watch Sean Miller leave once, then Chris Mack gut punched us. Now, Sean Miller may be leaving again, headed for the greener pastures of Texas. Cedric Golden, Field of 68, Matt Norlander, and John Fanta of Fox Sports have all reported that Coach Miller is leaving. At this point, nothing is confirmed other than that people on Twitter are very angry.
Sometimes these things come out of left field, but there is an awful lot of smoke around this particular fire. Neither the coach, Texas, or Xavier have released anything official. If they do, it comes at a bad time for Xavier, with the transfer portal nearly open. This is hardly the time not have a head coach. Should anything else happen, we’ll have it here.
