The anticipated exodus continues.
First, the news:
Xavier C Saša Ciani has entered the transfer portal. https://t.co/j0o5aOpw4D

Ciani averaged 2.5 and 2.9 in his first and what appears to be only year as a Xavier Musketeer. Along with Gytis Nemeiksa and Lazar Djokovic, he was part of the three-man Hail Mary thrown by Sean Miller when it became clear that Xavier’s starting front line was going to be out for the year.
There were flashes of potential from Ciani. He put up 7/6/4 against UC in the Shootout, and 1 of his 2 steals in that game was a clean pick of Jizzle James in the open court. He put 6/7/4 on St. Johns and 7/5/5 on Seton Hall in a game where nobody on Xavier’s offense could get anything going.
Sean Miller repeatedly hinted at the idea that the roster was going to shake up pretty significantly this off-season, and he has taken little time in opening up a few roster spots. I felt like Ciani might have the potential to develop into a solid post player; he’s going to have to do it somewhere other than Xavier.
