Who can blame him?
First, the news:
NEWS: Xavier wing Dailyn Swain is entering the transfer portal, he tells @On3sports.
The 6-8 sophomore averaged 11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game this season. https://t.co/gkFjYwbrii pic.twitter.com/D0OgnIUl25

When it rains, it pours, and it’s an absolute deluge right now. Dailyn Swain is going to be an absolute star for however long he is in college, but it looks certain that will be somewhere other than Xavier. He is an excellent defender with the skills to be elite and has shown the ability to be a scorer without anything really resembling a jumper. When his percentages in live action start to match the excellent numbers he already puts up from the line, he’ll be unstoppable.
A week ago, Xavier fans were riding high on the buzz of sneaking into the NCAA tournament to play Texas, a matchup that in retrospect looks like a sick (but admittedly well-crafted) joke played by someone on the committee with inside knowledge. Now the coach who took them there is gone, leaving only the smoldering foundation of the team who went with him in his wake. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but things could get way worse before they get any better unless the school announces an absolute home run hire, and quickly.
Hey, let’s go Guards though!
