Silly season has begun in college basketball.
First, the news:
Xavier wing Kam Craft will enter the transfer portal, a source tells @247SportsPortal.

Sean Miller has all but promised roster turnover this summer, and it has begun almost as soon as the curtain fell on Xavier’s ill-fated season. Kam Craft is first out the door; it’s not unreasonable to suspect that others may follow.
Craft was brought in with a reputation as a big-time shooter. In terms of percentage, he more or less lives up to that, knocking down 35.3% of his threes as a Musketeer. Unfortunately, that was just 6 hits on 17 attempts, as a stacked roster his freshman year and injury issues the whole way through combined to keep him off the court for the bulk of his time at Xavier. With his recruiting pedigree and the hope that he can productive when healthy, he’ll certainly have no shortage of options for landing places as he seeks to continue his career.
Craft’s departure leaves Xavier with, at this point, a single roster spot still open. Judging from their level of reported interest in various portal prospects already, they seem keen to fill it.
