Fly your flags, post your turkeys, Sean Miller has done it again.
First, the news:
NEWS: Florida State transfer Cam’Ron Fletcher has announced he’s committed to Xavier.
Fletcher is a former 4⭐️ recruit who began his career playing one season at Kentucky before spending the last three at Florida State.

I know what’s going to be at the top of everyone’s mind and yes, Fletcher is named after the famed New York rapper. We’re off to a good start already.
Fletcher is a big body forward, measuring in at 6’7″, 220 in the media guide last year. He only played 7 games last season before succumbing to injury, and he put up a game line of 6.7/5.0/1.0 in those games. On his career, he has shown that he absolutely destroys the glass on both ends of the floor and can flash some range on offense. He’s a career 33.9% shooter from deep on moderate volume.
The issue with him, as with seemingly every member of Xavier’s front line, is health. He lost time knee injuries twice in his last two years at Florida State, including the one that ended his season last year. If he’s fully healthy, he’s another absolute horse for Xavier on the front line. If he’s not, well, hopefully the math works on a couple of Xavier’s four dynamic forwards being available at any given time in the season.
With the COVID year and Fletcher’s injury history, it’s tough to be 100% certain, but I think he still has two years of eligibility remaining. He’s not going to turn 22 until this summer, so it’s not unreasonable to hope that Xavier gets a couple seasons out of this pickup.
