The Cincinnati Reds non-tendered Kevin Gausman in early December of 2019, opting against tendering him a deal that was projected to be worth $10.6 million in the arbitration process.
The righty, who will start tonight for the Toronto Blue Jays against the Reds, has since finished in the Top 10 of Cy Young Award voting thrice and secured a minimum of $138 million in guaranteed deals.
