Go Reds?
At what point do we hope the Cincinnati Reds start losing all of their games to improve their odds of a better draft position (and better draft bonus pool)?
Anyway, tonight marks the club’s 140th game of the 2024 Major League Baseball season, and they find themselves 15 games back in the National League Central division and 9.5 games removed from the third and final Wild Card spot in the playoff standings.
None of that will change tonight with any significance, but the club could notch a win in their third consecutive game should they once again take down the Houston Astros. They’ll turn to Nick Martinez to lead that charge, and my best guess is that Elly De La Cruz is set to honk no fewer than 900 feet of dingers after a refreshing off-day on Tuesday.
First pitch is set for 6:40 PM ET. Lineups below!
